Namibia tourist visa duration and extension
The Ministry Visa on Arrival page states that eligible travellers can apply for up to 90 days of Visa on Arrival. Namibia Tourism Board information also describes holidaymakers and tourists as welcome to remain for 90 days, subject to the permission issued.
The tourism guidance says visas can be valid up to three months from issue for stays of up to three months from entry and notes that extensions for a further three months are available through the relevant immigration office in Windhoek. Travellers should confirm the current rule before relying on an extension.
A stay limit is not an invitation to overstay. Track the authorised dates, keep the passport and visa copy together and use the correct purpose route for work or study.
