When should I choose a Bahrain multiple-entry visa?
A multiple-entry visa suits a traveller who will enter Bahrain more than once while the visa is valid. It does not remove purpose restrictions, passport checks or the maximum stay for each visit. Choose it when your itinerary genuinely includes repeat entries, and a single-entry visa when it does not.

How validity and stay work
Validity is the period in which you can use the visa to enter. The stay limit applies to each visit separately. On the 3-month visa each stay can last up to one month. On the 1-year, 5-year and 10-year visas each stay can last up to 90 days.
A multiple-entry visa is not unlimited residence. Check the validity dates and the stay limit on the issued visa before every trip.
Who benefits from multiple entry
- Regional travellers who cross the King Fahd Causeway between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain on weekends or short breaks.
- Repeat business visitors who return for meetings during the validity period.
- Families and friends who visit relatives living in Bahrain several times a year.
- Not a good fit: a single holiday. A single-entry visa is simpler and cheaper.
Conditions that still apply on every entry
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of each entry.
- You should carry a return or onward ticket each time you arrive.
- The purpose of your visit must match the visa category.
- Border officers decide admission at every entry.
- The visa does not allow work or residence. Employment needs a work permit through the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).
