An issued eVisa still meets the border process
The eVisa is checked, not waved through. The published visa terms state that the eVisa is valid for entry through all airports and/or seaports, but that entry remains subject to border conditions and the discretion of an Immigration Officer. In practice, the officer matches three things in seconds: the passport you present, the passport the eVisa was issued against, and the details typed into the application. Why "officer discretion" deserves respect, not fear
The discretion clause in the terms is standard immigration language, and it exists for a simple reason: a visa grants the right to seek entry, not an unconditional pass. Officers use that discretion to catch the cases automation cannot — passports reported lost and reissued, travelers whose plans contradict their declared purpose, or documents that do not match the person presenting them.
