The checkout gateway processes payments in USD. For standard processing, the total cost is $156 USD ($66 Gov + $90 Service), which converts to approximately 2,800 ZAR. If your flight departs within 48 hours, use urgent processing at $188 USD ($66 Gov + $122 Service), or roughly 3,380 ZAR.
Requirements for South African Passports
To successfully obtain your visa, you must meet three strict document rules:
- The 6-Month Passport Rule: Your South African passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the 90-day window of your eVisa.
- Clear Digital Scan: Upload a high-quality color JPEG of your passport's bio page showing a clear Machine Readable Zone (MRZ).
- Mandatory Printing: Upon approval, you must print the eVisa PDF on a physical A4 piece of paper to hand to border officials in Baku.
