The ASAN portal processes all payments universally in United States Dollars (USD). The standard 72-hour processing service is $156 USD (approx. €143 EUR). If your flight departs imminently, the urgent 3-hour priority option costs $188 USD (approx. €173 EUR). Your Dutch bank will automatically convert the amount.
Critical Requirements for Netherlands Passports
European travelers frequently assume regional travel rules apply globally. You must adhere to the following specific rules for the Caucasus region:
- No ID Cards Allowed: Azerbaijan is outside the Schengen Area. You absolutely cannot use your Dutch Identiteitskaart to apply for the eVisa or board your flight. A valid biometric passport from the Netherlands is required.
- The 6-Month Passport Rule: Under standard passport validity laws, your passport must remain valid for at least 3 months past the 90-day window of your eVisa (minimum 6 months from your application date).
- Clear Digital Scan: You must upload a high-quality color JPEG of your passport's photo page. The Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) must be perfectly clear.
