Thailand Tourist eVisa fees

A fee page must be maintained carefully. Thai visa fees can depend on the visa category, entry type, local currency, exchange rules, mission, and later policy changes, so a universal number can mislead applicants.

What a fee quote should tell you

Use this checklist to distinguish a government consular fee from optional assistance or payment charges.

Question What the official rules establish What you must verify
Visa category The amount is linked to the visa category and entry type selected. Confirm that the fee is for Tourist Visa or Tourist eVisa—not another category.
Responsible mission Thai missions may publish fee schedules in local currency. Use the mission responsible for your application location.
Government fee This is the consular charge set or published by the Thai authority. Check whether it is non-refundable once processing begins.
Assistance charge A private service may add a separate handling or assistance fee. VistoRoute is independent; do not confuse any private charge with the Thai government fee.

Why this page does not print one “Thailand eVisa fee”

!

The official amount is location- and category-sensitive

The Thai MFA’s general visa information states that the Tourist Visa fee is 1,000 Baht per entry and warns that fees may change without prior notice. Local missions may publish payable equivalents and separate schedules. Before publishing or paying, check the current fee displayed by the official e-Visa process or responsible Thai mission.

Read a payment screen carefully

Before payment, identify the applicant, visa category, entry type, currency, amount, payment method, and refund rule. Save the official receipt or payment confirmation. If a third party is helping you, ask for an itemised separation between the Thai consular fee and its own service charge.

Do not assume that an unsuccessful application creates an automatic refund. Refund treatment is controlled by the applicable official process and payment terms. If the amount shown does not match the current official source, stop and verify before paying.
